1. What the Site is
1trend.top is a news aggregator and search service. It automatically collects headlines, short summaries and thumbnail images that publishers make available through public RSS/Atom feeds, groups them by topic, and links each item to the original article on the publisher's own website. We are not a news publisher. We do not write, edit or fact-check the articles listed here, and the full article is always read on the publisher's site.
2. "Only REAL NEWS!"
This slogan describes our aim of listing stories from established news organisations. It is not a guarantee that any story is accurate, complete, current or free from error or bias. The content belongs to, and is the responsibility of, the publisher that produced it. Please check important information with the original source.
3. Content, sources and copyright
- Headlines, summaries, images and logos shown on the Site belong to their respective publishers or rights holders and are displayed only to point readers to the original source. Publisher names and logos are used solely to identify the source and do not mean that the publisher endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with the Site.
- You may not copy, republish or redistribute content from the Site except as the original publisher's terms allow. Follow the link to the original article for the publisher's own terms.
- The Site's own design, code, layout and original text are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy or resell them without our written permission.
4. Removal requests and reporting illegal content
If you are a publisher or rights holder and want an item, image, logo or a whole feed removed from the Site, or if you believe any content on the Site is illegal or infringes your rights, please email admin@1trend.top. Please include:
- the web address (URL) of the page on 1trend.top where the content appears;
- a clear explanation of why you believe it is unlawful or infringing, and who you are (and, for copyright, that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them);
- your name and contact details, and a statement that the information you provide is accurate and given in good faith.
We will review requests promptly, remove or disable access to content where appropriate, and tell you what we decided. Our single point of contact for users, publishers and authorities is the email address above.
5. Acceptable use
When using the Site you agree not to:
- break any applicable law or infringe anyone's rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers or other users' data, or interfere with its operation (including by overloading it);
- use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to copy the Site in bulk, other than ordinary search-engine indexing that respects our robots.txt file;
- upload or send malware, or use the Site to send spam;
- misrepresent your identity or the origin of content.
6. Search and third-party links
The search box first searches articles already collected on the Site. The "Web" button, and any other links to outside websites, take you to services we do not control, such as Google and the publishers' own sites. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
7. Advertising
The Site may display advertising, including advertising served by third parties. Advertisers are responsible for their own ads. We do not endorse advertised products or services. Any purchase you make from an advertiser is a matter between you and that advertiser.
8. Accounts
You do not need an account to read the Site. If we offer accounts or comments, you are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for what is done with your account. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these Terms.
9. Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data, cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Where the law requires it (for example for non-essential cookies used for advertising or analytics), we ask for your consent first.
10. Availability and changes to the Site
We aim to keep the Site running but do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Content is collected automatically, so it may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated or temporarily wrong. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Site at any time.
11. Disclaimer and limits on our liability
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not give any warranty about the accuracy or completeness of the content, and we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the Site or from relying on content that comes from third parties, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version. If we make important changes we will show a notice on the Site. By continuing to use the Site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Bulgaria, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you may have to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live. Consumers in the European Union may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution information at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
