Coleen Nolan speaks out on marrying new partner after getting matching tattoos

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan met her new partner, Ryan Brockbank, after appearing on Celebs Go Dating and is now considering taking their relationship to the next level

Coleen Nolan has revealed that she is no longer ruling out a third marriage, despite previously insisting she wouldn't walk down the aisle again. The 61-year-old Loose Women panellist is enjoying a new romance with Ryan Brockbank, a lecturer at the Fashion Retail Academy who is 14 years her junior.

The pair first connected through Instagram, where Ryan sent Coleen a private message. Their romance blossomed after her appearance on Celebs Go Dating, where she ultimately failed to find a romantic connection with any of her matches.

Since making their relationship public, the couple have marked their commitment with matching tattoos, and Coleen has now opened up about whether marriage could be on the cards.

Speaking on the At Home With Vanessa podcast, Coleen revealed that while the subject had been raised, she was not considering a wedding just yet.

"No, because my daughter is getting married next year and I don't want anything to overshadow that anyway," she shared.

Coleen shares daughter Ciara with her former husband Ray Fensome, whom she was married to from 2007 to 2018. She is also mum to sons Shane Richie Jr and Jack Roche, whom she shares with her first husband, actor Shane Richie.

Despite previously ruling out another marriage following the breakdown of her two previous relationships, Coleen admitted that finding love again had changed her perspective.

"I said if I meet someone, I don't want to get married again. I never want to get married again, what's the point? Bla bla bla and then you meet someone and you think, 'Oh maybe' and because the thing is I loved being married.

She added: "I loved it but the problem is when it goes wrong it's awful so it's that bit, but then you meet someone and you think, 'Well maybe this is the one that won't go wrong'."

The presenter has also spoken candidly about the couple's 14-year age gap, previously admitting that she had reservations about dating someone younger. However, she has since praised Ryan for making her feel secure in their relationship.

"He's just so calm and he's very reassuring and he's quite happy to just stay in the... I say in the background, I'm putting him right out there," she laughed. "And he's self sufficient which I love."

Coleen has also expressed admiration for Ryan's relationship with his ex-partner, with whom he shares a daughter, praising the way they co-parent.

Coleen has previously unveiled her matching tattoos with Ryan on Loose Women.

The mother-of-three showed off the ink on her right arm which reads 'UNTIL THE END', alongside an 'R' and a love heart inked on her chest in tribute to Ryan.

However, her new inkings prompted some questions from her children when she returned home.

She recalled: "My kids when I went home went 'what is going on?' Do you know, I'm in my 60s now, there's more life behind me than in front and I'm going to do exactly [what I want]. I've spent my whole life working, bringing up kids like most people. All my kids are parents themselves and moving on. I'm going to live my life."
