Months out of public view have given way to a quieter chapter for Sarah Ferguson in the UK. Her days now revolve around family, and while her next step is still undecided, what remains unchanged is her contact with ex-Prince Andrew. Reports now offer rare details of how she is spending this period.

Sarah Ferguson maintains a 'cordial' relationship with Ex-Prince Andrew, spokesperson claims

According to People, Sarah Ferguson, 67, returned to the UK from the Austrian Alps in late summer. Since then, she has spent time with her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, and her five grandchildren. "She's resettling here, lying low while she looks at the next stage," her spokesperson said. "She's happy spending time with her family and focusing on her relocation."

According to reports, Ferguson is believed to be renting a house in the Home Counties, the areas surrounding London. Her newest grandchild is Eugenie's daughter, Adelaide, who was born in August. Eugenie, 36, also has two sons, August and Ernest. Meanwhile, Beatrice, 38, has two daughters with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and is stepmother to his son, Christopher "Wolfie" Woolf. "[Ferguson] is embracing her family life and seeing her grandchildren," the spokesperson added.

It is unclear whether Ferguson has seen her ex-husband since coming back to the UK. However, sources note that the two remain in touch. Andrew, 66, now lives in seclusion on King Charles' Sandringham estate in Norfolk. "They have an ongoing cordial and supportive relationship as co-parents and co-grandparents," Ferguson's spokesperson said.

Their contact comes almost a year after King Charles stripped his brother of his royal titles and honours. He also ordered Andrew and Ferguson to leave Royal Lodge, where they had lived together for around two decades. Ferguson then retreated from public life as her past links to Jeffrey Epstein faced renewed scrutiny.

The former Duchess of York did make one rare public appearance on October 29. She attended a London memorial service for her former boyfriend and longtime friend, Paddy McNally, who died in July aged 88. Her daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, 36, joined her. At the moment, Ferguson's plans for the future remain unclear. As the fallout intensified in late 2025, she was said to be looking to "forge an independent life." Meanwhile, her representatives also quashed rumors of a memoir in September.
