Incidentally 86% of you have said in our vote that you'd like to see more of these tri-series rather than sticking with bilateral fixtures.
Pakistan will face Sri Lanka in the final at this ground on Saturday at 08:00 GMT - as we knew before the start of this fixture. You'll be able to listen to commentary from that match on this website, 5 Live Sports Extra and BBC Sounds.
England are next in action against Australia - a three-match ODI series starts in Perth (03:30 GMT) on Friday, 13 November, with five T20s to follow.
See you soon!
'We had a clear plan'published at 16:45 GMT 29 October
England captain Harry Brook: "I think we've batted really well throughout the series, apart from that first game really. But the way we finished the game there, shows what we learned from when they chased 430 so that was really good to see.
"I wasn't nervous, no. We had a clear plan, a lot of clarity with the bowlers. The lads have learned a hell of a lot from a couple of days ago, so it was an exceptional effort.
"We haven't had the series that we'd have wanted, we obviously would like to be in the final on Sunday. But the lads have taken a lot of confidence from it, despite being on the wrong side. We're scoring runs and taking wickets, and we've got a lot of clarity in our roles despite the losses."

Former England fast bowler on BBC Test Match SpecialI don't think England are in less stronger position.
I think indicators in this series that the batting is in pretty good order, the way the guys are taking responsibility and scoring big scores, which you need to do in this format of the game.
One thing they will learn is the importance of those wickets.

BBC Chief Cricket Commentator on Test Match SpecialWinning gives you confidence.
It gets you through moments of difficulty. The games England lost, you see negativity creeping in early.
They have got to get on a bit of a roll, but it will be tough against Australia. What has happened here is a lesson and an education.
We have seen some wonderful cricket, how relevant it will be when the World Cup comes around. I expect not terribly.
'We've played very well today'published at 16:41 GMT 29 October
Sri Lanka captain Kusal Mendis at the presentation: "I think we batted really well in the middle overs and powerplay. Unfortunately we made a little mistakes, that's why we can't chase the score. I'm happy with our batting, we've played very well today.
"I'm very to score runs today. When I come to the final I have to bat a little more than today."
'Important to win tonight'published at 16:40 GMT 29 October
England batter Ben Duckett: "Obviously, that pitch was getting good again with the conditions.
"We've come out on the wrong side. So, very important to win tonight. And, I think we played some really good cricket over the course of the few games and just fell on the wrong side of the result.
"So, there is positives to take. It's just about getting over the line and winning games of cricket, certainly when we're in front."
On Pavan Rathnayake: "He's an incredible player. He's had a couple of great knocks against us and obviously looking like he was going to get it done again. It was just really important for us to keep trying to take wickets today and we kind of saw at the end there with the tail that that it will crumble. So, credit to the bowlers for getting the job done and certainly Liam Dawson and his bowling is incredible."
On his form in Pakistan: "Finish the summer fairly quiet, so I've toured Pakistan quite a few times and know the conditions well. I know how good the pitch can be to bat on. So really happy that I've put a couple of performances on the board.
"We're going to completely different conditions where the lengths we bowl in and the areas we hit the ball are going to be extremely different going to Perth, especially.
"I think there are so many different learnings. We scored 430 in one game, won 90% of the game against Pakistan the other day and obviously to get over the line here.
"I think we've put some really good performances on. We just haven't quite got over the line. So, we've got guys in form, guys bowling well, so I guess for us that's what we got to take into Australia and we're just really happy we won today."

Former England bowler on Test Match SpecialIf England want to play Liam Dawson, can they find a way of getting Adil Rashid in?
It is a conversation they're going to have and it will cause some headaches.

Former England fast bowler on BBC Test Match SpecialToday, the partnership from Ben Duckett and Tom Banton was the best we have seen of those two together. They negotiated the first 10 overs, but with intent. After that, the partnership comes into its own.

Former England bowler on Test Match SpecialOn where Harry Brook's captaincy is at...
I think it is hard to know. I think he is brilliant. I like his aggressiveness.
A few moments throughout this tour, I have not agreed with his bowling changes, but saying that he has not got the bowling changes that he would want or normally has.
I don't think you can blame England's performances on his captaincy.

In my view, we have been on the wrong side of results. England have actually played well this series without our premier quick (Archer) and spin (Rashid) bowlers. Add Buttler, Salt, etc back into the batting line-up and we are in rude health.

Phew a win at last! But nothing on it. England need to learn how to win meaningful matches with something on it!

Granted the results haven’t been great. But three of these England games have been thrilling! It’s kinda like supporting Newcastle in the 90s! You’re not gonna win anything, but what a ride!

BBC Chief Cricket Commentator on Test Match SpecialOn England's bowling attack...
When you use seven bowlers again, I don't think Harry Brook is quite sure.
He's a relatively inexperienced captain.
I think he is still trying to work out what bowling formula sort of works.
There have been some unexpected choices and bowling decisions throughout this tournament.
Sam Curran has bowled a lot, certainly in the first couple of games. He hasn't really bowled very well.
He has leant on him a lot. The Henry Crocombe thing today - I am not sure what that is all about.
One minute he is bowling a vital over the other day, and then he just bowls three overs here.
His first over was expensive, wasn't it? But to bowl seven bowlers and quite so many spinners when the ball is pretty damp as well.
Like anything, Brook is learning as well and he is learning captaincy on the hoof.
Responsibility is sitting on his shoulders easily as a batsman. We saw that responsibility, I think, in the summer when Joe Root came back, a bit of a change in tempo.
He has had a terrific tour batting wise. That double 100, his disappointment at losing the game, but what a reminder of what an extraordinary talent he is.
He is learning generally about bowling changes and the team that he wants around him.
That will come with time, and he has got a year until the World Cup.

Image source, ReutersI just think if your top six batters do their job, as they did today, and with the guys who can bowl and bat, I think then playing the extra bowler can give you more firepower through the middle of the innings and then safety at the death.

BBC Chief Cricket Commentator on Test Match SpecialThe batsmen score runs, the bowlers have an off day.
It hasn't all gelled together, so there is work to be done. Definitely as far as the make-up of the team.
Adil Rashid's situation is an interesting one. Michael Vaughan has messaged asking why he isn't in the team?

Former England fast bowler on BBC Test Match SpecialThere would have been moments in the match when England were worried.
At the halfway stage England would have been content with where they were at.
There were some worrying signs through the middle that England couldn't take a wicket.
The bowling looked the same at times, but they hung in there and broke into those partnerships.

Former England bowler on Test Match SpecialThat run out that wasn't from Pavan Rathnayake didn't end up being match costly.
England can breathe a sigh of relief.
England will be disappointed how this tournament has gone and gutted by the way it has gone.
Ultimately, they have got away with a win, and have a little bit of confidence leading into Australia.

Former England bowler on Test Match SpecialBrilliant catch from Tom Banton. Banton, running in shouts 'mine'.
It is an easier catch for him to take. Liam Dawson missed out on that first game, but he has come back and taken wicket after wicket.
