Stephen Curry hits the 3-pointer to push him past Oscar Robertson for No. 17 in scoring.
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry continues to climb the all-time scoring charts.
Curry nailed a 3-pointer with 7:03 left in the first quarter of Thursday’s 120-100 home win against the Miami Heat to score his 26,711th career point. In doing so, he moved ahead of Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson (26,710) for No. 17 on the all-time scoring list.
Against Miami, Curry shot 6-for-12 on 3-pointers and 29 points (9-for-19 FGs) as Golden State won its sixth straight.

Just six days ago, Curry scored 31 points in a 112-95 Emirates NBA Cup win against the Los Angeles Lakers to pass Dominique Wilkins (26,668) for No. 18 on the scoring list. Curry (26,737) trails Denver Nuggets guard DeMar DeRozan (26,775) for No. 16. That duo will be in a chase this season to see who gets past No. 15 Hakeem Olajuwon (26,946) first. DeRozan needs 172 points to do so, while Curry needs 210.
Curry has scored at least 1,630 points in five of his last six seasons (he scored 1,142 last season, but injuries limited him to 43 games). If he approaches that 1,600-point mark in 2026-27, he will likely surpass No. 14 Russell Westbrook (27,176), No. 13 Elvin Hayes (27,313) and No. 12 Moses Malone (27,490) before the season ends.
