Zack Snyder shared a photo Wednesday night of his daughter, Autumn, standing with Henry Cavill in the full Superman suit.

The Instagram post is set to Allison Crowe’s version of “Hallelujah,” the song that closes out Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The movie ends with the dedication “For Autumn.”

Snyder is asking fans to donate to the family’s team ahead of Saturday’s American Foundation for Suicide Prevention walk in Pasadena.

A Father’s Love For His Daughter

“A father’s love for his daughter never ends, even when her time here does,” Snyder wrote.

“There are no words to describe the heartbreak of losing a child or the emptiness that lasts a lifetime. The years may pass, but the love, the memories, and the longing to have her here with us never fade,” he continued.

Snyder then pointed fans to the family’s donation page.

“If you are able, please consider making a donation to support us as we walk to honor Autumn this Saturday. These donations, no matter how small, help fund life-saving research, suicide prevention education, and support for families who know the unimaginable heartbreak of losing someone they love. The donation link is in my bio,” he wrote.

Snyder closed the post: “Autumn will always be my daughter, our heroic archer. She will always be loved and always be a part of everything I do.”

Autumn Snyder passed away in 2017 at the age of 20, while her father was in post-production on Justice League. Snyder stepped away from the film that spring.

When Zack Snyder’s Justice League arrived on HBO Max in 2021, it ended with a title card reading “For Autumn.”
