Scott told the outlet that Johnson died peacefully Wednesday afternoon after her heart stopped beating.

The late star rose to fame in 1998 when she landed the role of Judy in one episode of “Beverly Hills, 90210.”

She was featured on the Season 8 episode, titled, “The Following Options.”

Another one of Johnson’s most memorable roles was in the 2000 film “Dude, Where’s My Car?” starring Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott.

In 2003, Johnson took a break from her career for a few years after the birth of her son, Cameron Nino.

Following her acting hiatus, she went on to star in several independent films and did theater work.

Johnson also started to get into producing. She was executive producer for “The Last Eve” (2005) alongside Korean American director Young Man Kang.

The film won several awards in film festivals including Best Action Feature Film Award in the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival.

In 2011, Johnson teamed up with several skin care and beauty industry leaders and launched her own beauty line, SkinGlow by Kimmarie.

In the months before her death, the Pennsylvania native appeared to be focusing on her modeling career, per her social media.

The actress was the cover model for Grazia Slovenia magazine back in August.

Johnson is one of several stars of “Beverly Hills, 90210” who passed away over the years.

Luke Perry, who played reoccurring character Dylan McKay, passed away in March 2019 following a massive stroke. He was 52.

Joe E. Tata, known as the beloved owner of the Peach Pit on the teen soap opera, died in August 2022 at 85. The actor was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2014.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” cast faced another devastating loss in July 2024 when Shannen Doherty, who played McKay’s longtime love interest Brenda Walsh, lost her battle to cancer at 53.
