Isaac Price’s rise at West Brom as James Morrison urges another level

Isaac Price’s influence under James Morrison grew again at the London Stadium, the 23-year-old integral to West Brom’s latest statement result without a goal or assist.

As reported by ExpressAndStar.com, he was involved in all three goals in Saturday’s 3-1 win at West Ham and now has six goals and two assists in 15 games this season.

Morrison praised his work for the team and his quality, but said there is still another level in him with more complete performances. He added he is sure Price will become a Premier League player if he keeps working and stays on the right path. He voiced similar belief in August after back-to-back doubles against Burnley and Newcastle.

Price credited the manager and backroom staff for installing belief and giving him a role that makes him feel important. He said short-term targets are the focus and he trusts he can keep scoring and creating, while enjoying playing in front of the fans when the team is in form.

The Yorkshire-born attacker has flourished on the left since Morrison became caretaker in March. He has 16 goals in 79 Albion appearances following a £2.5 million move from Standard Liege in January 2025, one of the club’s most successful buys of the Bilkul era to date. Internationally, he has 11 goals in 36 caps for Northern Ireland.
