Chicagoans will soon be rockin' around the Christmas tree as the highly anticipated return of holiday music on the radio finally has a date.
The announcement was made Wednesday, as 93.9 LITE FM revealed to listeners "Santa Claus is OFFICIALLY coming to town" this week.
The switch is slated to officially happen starting at 3 p.m. Thursday.
The only question now is: which song will they play first?
The Nov. 5 start date is a late one for the station.
Last year, holiday music began playing on the radio in Chicago on Nov. 4. The year before, the station began playing holiday tunes on Nov. 1. In 2023, music began on Nov. 2 and in 2022 it kicked off Nov. 1.
