Frank Turner, Public Enemy confirmed for Bearded Theory 2027

Frank Turner will play the Derbyshire event next year.

Frank Turner, Public Enemy, Hot Chip and Super Furry Animals are some of those who’ll be playing the 18th edition of Bearded Theory between May 26th-30th next year.

For Turner, it adds to what may be his final year of live work as he intends to pursue new life priorities following the completion of his Lost Evenings shows in November 2027.

“I’ve been on the road most of my life… and I want to try new things,” he’s said. “I want to recharge, spend more time with my friends and family, and explore other ways of life. I’m excited to pursue other ideas and projects.”

“It’s also worth saying that the economics of touring have gotten harder, the music industry has been swallowed by social media in a way that doesn’t really interest me, and as I get older my physical and mental health could do with some care. Truly, though, I’m excited for the future.”
